This brake roller assembly is found underneath the drive wheel, and is responsible for keeping the drive wheel from spinning in reverse. Many refer to it as the "clicker". When we change the roller brake, we typically replace the roller brake spring as well to make sure they wear together, and that the new roller brake is held firmly in place.
*This roller brake fits most brands of automatic drywall tapers, but it doesn't fit the new style TapeTech with the thicker coil spring.
