3L3-F Nyliner inserts into the connecting link on the NorthStar extendable handle and provides a wear part for 3/16" clevis pin where the mounting plate attaches to the brake rod. 4 nyliners are used in every box handle. This nyliner is also used in the NorthStar angle heads where the  locking arm assembly runs through the ball lock receiver.
