Drive Wheel Plate

The stainless steel drive wheel plate works together with the roller brake assembly in preventing the drive wheel from rolling backwards. The drive wheel plates also provide traction for the automatic drywall taper. It's a good idea to change these when the teeth are visibly worn, and you should also change the brake roller assembly and brake roller spring at the same time.
