TapeTech® Drive Dog Spring

The TapeTech drive dog spring provides tension to keep the drive dog assembly engaged on the automatic drywall taper. If you are having issues with your taper leaving frequent blisters behind the tape, it's a good idea to change this part, as drive dog springs are inexpensive and they can wear out very easily.
