TapeTech® Drive Chain SST

The TapeTech stainless steel drive chain connects the large sprocket which engages the cable drum, and the small sprocket which engages the drive wheel. Having too loose of a chain on your automatic drywall taper can cause binding, and the chain can even fall off if it's too loose. A loose chain will also allow for a greater gap of mud when switching from manually advancing tape with the drive dog, to rolling the taper down the wall as described in this video.
